What should I expect during my first session?
The first session is an assessment up to 60 min to get a good initial sense of your present situation and learn a little about your past, as well as about your hopes for the future. It is an opportunity to say what is troubling you, what has brought you to therapy now and what would you like to achieve in coming. I will be directed about what we should focus and make some suggestions about how we might approach it. I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process or about the way I work. If we agree to work together, we will normally meet for 50 minutes each week. For couples counselling is 70 minutes and is usually fortnightly.
£75 for individual therapy (Up to 50 minutes, usually weekly)
£100 for couples therapy. (Up to 70 minutes usually forthnightly)
I offer also a more affordable way of accessing counselling and psychotherapy through a low cost service. If you’re on benefits, student or a low income there’s no reason why you can’t have therapy too. Please ask me about this when you first make contact.
My first session of the morning is at 9 am and my last is at 9pm, Mondays to Thursdays. Saturdays also available.
